Only reason DBs coach was hired was to beat Science Hill and that barley happens

Big game for the Indians Betsy has been very good over the last few years. Will be watching for that score to come through. Sounds like if the Indians don’t generate some offense it could be a long night.  Indians need this game for overall record and momentum for the rest of the season.

From an outsider looking in.... It would seem that SH cares more about beating DB than going far into the playoffs, while DB is just the opposite.              That's not saying DB does not take the SH game seriously but I think it means way more to SH.            Fans closer to each program may have a different view on this though.......

So glad this game is played. Two of the better upper East TN teams playing. I will take Greeneville in this one, but DB's depth will keep it close.

Well just before the "search" started for the new head coach at Science Hill the committee was quoted in the paper as saying they were going to look for a coach that could beat DB. "First and Foremost," No mention of a State Championship. Well, they got their man. And all in good in Johnson City.
