Morristown West travels to Jeff Co

An old school IMAC rivalry. West is 3-2, with close loses to probably the best 2 teams in upper East TN in Elizabethton and Greeneville . Jeff comes in 4-1 with 4 straight wins after losing the opener at Oak Ridge. Should be a good, physical game with both teams relying on the run game and defense.

I would expect relatively low scoring game. MW usually has good D against the run. Not sure they have enough offensive juice against JC’s D.  Expect Pats run win streak to 3.

Are the Trojans finally getting back to being a solid team once again? Since Lamar left they haven’t been much, but have traditionally been a tough squad.

The talent pool dried up for about 10 yrs and Lamar saw it coming. From what I’ve been told last couple yrs MS ball has improved so sending up better players. Coach Sanders good coach and good guy. Always great to beat MW at anything if you’re a Patriot.

Agree. Much respect for Trojan Nation. But it doesn’t matter if it is football or chess, beat them !!

Entire 1st qtr played with West in JC territory. Lucky to have been down only 10. A good drive and a big play has it 13-10 Jeff late in the half

It was a battle. Jeff was called for at least 15 penalties, 9 holding calls. West had 2.
