Waverly Vs. Loretto

Im going 35-21 Waverly. I just don’t think Loretto is ready to be champs! Waverly has a long history of winning and being champions! They are hungry for it right now!

Someone would have to ask Harpeth.  They held Waverly to 14 in regulation didn't they?

Harpeth held you to 22 in OT and they were maybe the best defense you’ve seen??? Everything else has been track meets from poor defenses or playing chase from getting boat raced at Mt Pleasant — Hickman County had you with what should have been 7 in the 1H 

Any given Friday 

Loretto held Lewis County to 21 with 3 plays in that game blowing 80 yard explosives (2) from LC  or that game stays more defensive lower scoring. Loretto defense pretty senior laden and solid and I don’t know if you can out score them personally

Well look at how many possessions Waverly had that game. Literally Harpeth ate the clock. It was the slowest most boring game. That was their game plan. And it worked. Keep the ball in their possession. 
 

Yall are 8-0 and beat Lewis for the first time in 2 decades and act like y’all are world beaters. Glad Loretto fans are excited, and you should be, but don’t act like y’all are the best team in the state because you aren’t. Y’all are lucky to even beat Lewis because Lewis controlled that game to the end. I’m really surprised y’all won.

So if Loretto uses the same game plan and wants to limit your possessions that doesn’t bode well? Mustangs offense is the best offense you’ll have seen all year and no, Camden dropping 50 doesn’t count

Games on the road are different animals.   Loretto will suffer first loss tonight.  Waverly is different from Collinwood, Summertown and East Hickman

That’s not Lorettos scheme. That’s Harpeths, and yes that scheme works when you limit your opponent to how many times they possess the ball.

You act like Waverly is the greatest team of all time. This defense is like cutting through butter. It’s time to open your eyes and realize that the one good team Waverly has played they lost.
 

Talking to you makes it sound like Loretto shouldn’t even load the buses today.

I’m sure Loretto will try to limit Waverly’s offensive touches. But with a couple dropped passes, and a sack or 2 Loretto will be behind quickly. If the sophomore floats one over the middle like he’s probed to, it will get picked.
