Loretto vs. Mount Pleasant

This is a huge game in Region 5 this week. Winner takes all. Lewis County fans will be cheering hard for Loretto this week.

I am curious to know how the Waverly people feel about this matchup.

Neither of these teams should have beaten Waverly this year.  Both wins were nothing more than flukes and both of these teams will never win in the playoffs because they really just stink.  They'll both still be in shock because they somehow miraculously defeated Waverly this season.  When Waverly beats Huntingdon in 2 weeks both of these teams should just forfeit if they advance in the playoffs because they'll never again be able to pull off such a monumental feat.

This will be a good game. I give MP the edge on line play. Loretto has some BIG athletic receivers. I think it could go either way but I also wouldn’t be surprised with 14+ point win for MP. Good luck to both I’m very curious to see how it turns out!

I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt.  All 3 of those guys are Waverly legends and would kick my tail just like Waverly kicks tail on the football field, especially when teams aren't lucky.

Go ahead and cancel football because beating Waverly is the best accomplishment in the history of your program.  If I want to take Loretto seriously I'll go to a baseball game in April-May.
