Well it looks like Dyer Co. got back on track tonite. DC wins 65-41. Could have been more lopsided, but Butch emptied the bench on this one. Keep up the good work DC!!

If the he ur talking about is courtney. Im not sure if he played or not. Sometimes Butch will not play a starter at times to give the others some playing time. Especially when they are playing a much weaker team. Not trying to knock anyone , but you know what i mean.

Having watched DC basketball for several years I've never seen Butch sit a starter for as much as a quarter let alone a whole game reguardless of the team they were playing or the score. That very thing came back to haunt him last year when he had to play his bench in the last 2 games and they had not gotten the floor time they should have in earlier blow outs.

The reason courtney didn't play was because he is ineligible to play. Some people need to listen when the truth is being told. The kid wasn't even in uniform. He sat in the stands far away from the bench. He will be suspended from play until there is a bonafide change of address.

Coaches don't sit starters to let others play unless it is senior night., especially a Dyer Co. That thinking has cost Coach Hopkins games in the past and I guarantee he was not going to let that happen again. Senior night was the only way you probally ever got to play anyway.

Courtney sat out because that was what needed to be done untill a final verdict is given. Coach Hopkins could not afford a district loss by playing him last night in case something does happen.

Well Butch did it again. He sat out starters so the other players can play. You meaning (thebeave,links22) have not seen Butch in action at all, or you would know he plays alot of bench players in every game. How do you think they get to be better players. Not by riding the bench, thats for sure. As a matter of fact he played everyone on the bench, Tuesday nite. You two need to get a life, because your threads are a BIG FAT JOKE. figbar, while I am a DC supporter and think that Butch does a good job if there is one area that he has not been good at in the past is using his bench. Last season he went with his starting 5 ninety percent of the time and it showed when we had 2 players suspended at the end of the season and again at the Boro when Ridgeway slowed the game against us and we had some people in foul trouble.
