Agree. Heritage outscored 5A Region 3 teams 141-13. Really bites to be sitting out the playoffs after beating the pants off of three teams in Region 3. (Howevs, that’s also on Heritage for not showing up & firing on all cylinders like they should have against Halls & Central, and they know/own that.) When TSSAA reconfigures regions for 4A football in Nov, hope they’ll show some sense and align HHS to the south with their current baseball region. The few extra travel miles will be worth a better more evenly matched, competitive landscape in 4A. Super proud of the Heritage kids & staff who have dug in over the last 3 seasons to steer the program 180 degrees in the right direction. The community has also really stepped up to support the program. Hope they’ll stay on this trajectory for the 2025 season.

Any team with a losing record should NOT be in the playoffs. Heritage is a much better team than Clinton.
