best teams in div. 2 east region

I would say it will be between McCallie and Baylor. Eveyone lost important players, except Webb, and will be weaker than last year. I say it will be Baylor McCallie because these two always seem to reload with players.

kchs will take the region this year, unless mccallie can step up their game this year. i think baylor doesn't stand much of a chance against the irish though, so it will probably be between catholic mccallie, then baylor, then nd, then webb.

look for notre dame and knox catholic to step up and take this region. mccallie has remmilard and shanks and they both have not been playing very much. Shanks has played a couple of indoor games and cory hasnt played soccer since last season. hes a basketball star now he doesnt play club ball any more. Baylor has no good seniors and look for them to fall early and often to most teams. baylor will be good in about 2 years from now but not this year. Notre Dame and knox catholic each have many players playing club all year and watch for their seniors.

The DII East teams to beat this year (and every year) are McCallie and Baylor. McCallie is loaded with returning players and an experienced and outstanding coaching staff.

Even if Baylor graduated its entire starting lineup-which it didn't-Coach Weekley will have the newcomers playing like vets within days. KCHS and Notre Dame will be okay but both are very young and Webb is definitely in a rebuilding mode. Anyone who looks past McCallie and Baylor is a fool.

McCallie's and Baylor's depth year end and year make replacing graduating seniors a lot simpler. With B teams that rarely lose games, they have a constant supply of good players. Corey Remillard will be playing basketball in regionals the first few soccer games. This isn't the first time McCallie has been short early in the season because of basketball players not being available. McCallie and Baylor will again have guys on the bench who would start for most teams.

 

Same as always - Baylor and McCallie favored to win.

I agree... Baylor and McCallie will be the top teams. They both have a lot of talent and skill... but they were favored last year as well. So who knows what will happen? Good luck to all the teams. But not really to Webb. Becuase you could give them all the luck in the world and they would still find a way to mess up.
