I have seen on this web page's schedule list as well as on the Tennessean schedule that Waverly played Henry Co. on thursday. Can anyone verify this and if there was a game, what was the score?

Henry County raced to a 20- 4 lead to start the game and led by 18 at one point. Waverly fought back to make it a game but got no closer than 4 points with the ball and a minute or two remaining. Hamlin led Henry County with 20 points on five 3-pointers. Sturdevant and Teague had 16 and 14, respectively. Waverly was led by Nichols' 14 points, but fouled out in the final minutes. Mangrum and Hollis chipped in 12 apiece. The game had lots of turnovers by both teams and was officiated much tighter than the game in early January. Final score was 61-56. Good luck to both teams down the stretch.

I see Henry County again got a large lead and again blew it to have to hold on for the win. That has been their thing all year. Good luck to Waverly the rest of the year.
