I was just wondering how many school's provide their baseball team with an indoor facility. Whether it be a batting cage or what? Thank you.

jefferson co. has just built a new indoor facility, but they are waiting on electricity for it. It is about 20yds. wide by 35yds long and very nice. Sevier co. has an indoor batting cage and a room to throw two pitchers off a portable mound. Pigeon forge high has an indoor facility similar to the one jeff co just built. Still wish we could get on the field

We have a wooden bat tourny in like 3 days, and we haven't been on the field all year. Either its been TOO COLD or TOO WET. It looks like it could be an interesting start of the season for just about everyone.

whitwell has a place to hit (and pitch if necessary) its an old barn..but we have made it into a very nice place on crappy rainy days

Nobody is answering your question. The school didn't provide anything for Oakland Baseball the Booster club did. The only thing the county has given OHS was the Land to put a field on. $150,000.00 worth of infrastructure came from the Parents and supporters of Oakland Baseball. The city paid for the lights not the school or the county and they were under some kind of agreement for that. Of course this is how I understand it.

Riverdale's place is nice. Last year when we came to Oakland in the Sectionals, Riverdale let us use their facilities to get ready for the big win! Nice indoor facility.
