Has anyone heard anything? Seems real strange that it has been this hush-hush. Interviews were suppose to be over last week. I know a couple of coaches have interviewed that visit this board on a regular basis. Give us some insight about your interview. What was your overall impression of the situation?

When did they say a decision would be made?

I think they are giving up on football and looking at starting a trout fishing team. I think they should excell at that sport.

Hey coachDG did you get your letter from Tellico stating you were not selected for the job? I got mine on Friday, and have been told that there is a guy from Georgia on the top of the list. Sounds as if we Tennessee folk got by-passed. Oh! Well.

Unless he is retiring from Georgia, the man is taking A MASSIVE PAY CUT to come to Monroe County. Plus he will get his #### handed to him on Friday nights.

I would like to congratulate the new coach and welcome him to Tennessee. I think you are right, he must have really took a financial hit to come to Tennessee to coach. Tellico has a great school and football field. I hope the new coach has many years of success! It seems to be a tough region to play, but I do wish him well! Good luck to the Bears next season.

No, I didn't get a letter yet saying I was not selected to interview, but I will probably today. Oh well, that's part of it. I have a couple of assistant job possibilitites that I am looking into.
