OS position opening???

Heard a rumor from a girls high school player a day or two ago that Todd Wright was leaving OS to take a better paying job in GA.

Anyone able to shed any truth/credibility to this???

Where is OS?

Oliver Springs is located 22 miles west of downtown Knoxvile and borders the city of Oak Ridge to the west. You can be in west knoxville in 20 minutes compared to the 30-25 it takes from strawberry plains

 

Possible canidates include- Clinton Coach, OS alum Tonya Snyder, Coach Hackworth (led OS to state runner up in boys in 89) Also, Claire Mollison played at OS and Charlotte would be great to get back involved in the Lady Cat program now is back living in OS.

I agree with you Matt. Let's get an OS person to coach an OS team. In doing this, it will nullify the revolving door oc coaches at OS. I'm sure these coaches only want to better their situation, but its at the expense of OS thus using alot of OS talent to get where they want.

I think Bilyeu would be a great choice if he is interested. He is a major reason the O.S. girls are as successful as they are now. He runs an excellent middle school program. Probably not a favorite among parents, but you can't question that he knows the game.

This will be a great opportunity for someone, they are walking in with alot of great talent coming back, and some good 8th graders coming to play for OZ from OSMS. Not sure how many girls from Norwood will go to OZ or Clinton. Could this coaching move change their school? Is there a chance Coach Hackworth will consider this coaching move? Or better yet will TheAnswer consider this coaching opportunity??? :confused:
