Man, that just puts a smile on my face. That's how a state championship should be played and what HS basketball is all about. Congrats to Giles County.

I thought this was one of the best tournaments in quite some time. You didnt have the as many of the big names maybe as in the past (still had lots-too many to list), but for the true basketball fan this was it. Almost everygame was close and good. The AA was very very competitive. Any team could have come out on a different night and won. Giles went through former #1 Boivar, #1 in Knox Fulton, a Haywood team that scored the most points ever, and defending champs Ridgeway. Nough said.

I wonder if you could do a pool play type scenario instead of a one and done deal? That would be real exciting and give teams more than a one shot to prove themselves.
