Help us keep the boards loading fast for everyone, including the majority of users who are on dial-up modems.

 

If we spot an image that is slow loading and over the size limit, the link may be removed.

More of a technical question as I am not really familiar with how servers work.

 

Does your server have to go search for the image file every time it is displayed or does it work like a web browser where it stores more recent information in temporary file to speed things up?
