FrankL
lets not let this pole get away from us, there is still lots of baseball to be played. as a great friend of mine once said, It might be the last game of the season, can't hold anything back. WesVLT
Battle Ground Academy defeated Middle Tennessee Christian School 3-1 Saturday in a relatively close game. Though MTCS outhit BGA for the first 5 innings and held a 1-0 lead after 4, the Wildcats sprang back and capitalized upon lackluster fielding with some sharp hits, putting up 3 unanswered runs to win the game. BGA plays at Brentwood Academy on Monday @4:30 PM.
jgbcs85
BigRed, that kid is a sophmore if it's matt lea that you're talking about and he hurt his arm pitching against us. i havent heard anything beyond that it was elbow pain but i have heard that he is not pitching in the district tourney. hardball03
You're too nice WesVols. The kid from MTCHS was so erratic, he had BGA hitters swinging at bad pitches. They were also way ahead of him and fouling off a lot of pitches. Don't forget the "Venezuelan Sensation"........had an average game. I hope they were saving it for Monday. commish5238
WesVols, just wanted to say it was a pleasure meeting you today. Maybe we'll cross paths again on Monday. Haven't completely decided I'm going to make the trek up there yet though, but I hope you leave the ballpark disappointed nonetheless. BriC
WesVols, Do you still think that Baylor will make it to state even though they finished 3rd in their region and will not have they star SS (Hodges) and their starting 2nd baseman (Vinson) for the first two games of the region tournament (their first game is vs. McCallie)
