8AAA games in Shelbyville

At the present time, the two games for tonight will be played.

 

Shelbyville/Columbia 4:00

Lincoln/ Lawerence 6:00

 

Both games will be played in Shelbyville tonight unless something comes up.

For folks coming to Shelbyville from Lincoln Co., the best way to come is through Lynchburg and Flat Creek because Cannon Blvd. is closed. Columbia and Lawrence Co. fans should come by Henry Horton over to 41A.

Is Cannon Blvd the road that has the flood gate by the dam? Is the flood gate closed?

Yes -- Cannon Blvd. is Hwy. 231/431 coming into Shelbyville from the south. There is a bridge crossing the Duck River and a dam on the right. The flood gate just past the bridge is closed, and traffic is blocked off. You'll be fine if you come in by Flat Creek or 41A.

so when will they announce the All-District players and how are they chosen

They were chosen in the coaches meeting last week, and will be announced at the conclusion of the tourney. Teams got a certain amount of players based on their finishing rank. Coaches nominated the players for their own teams.
