Congratulations to Megan Rhodes on surpassing 500 strikeouts...for this year! WOW!! She had 18 strikeouts in Lipscomb's 2-0 victory over Brighton.

 

Anybody have any records on most strikeouts in a single year?

Update, In the 7th inning on Wed against Lenoir City, game is tied 0-0.

Jenni Anderson hit in face with ball off bat batting, gone for x-rays

Meghan had 18 K's this morning against Gibbs but lost 1-0. Too bad soo sad!

Just wondering . . . is Megan's dad her main pitching coach or is she a student of Club K? I read the article in the Tennessean about her, and most of what was mentioned was about her dad.

Megan's pitching coach is Coach Gary Davis of Lipscomb. She's taken lessons from him for many years (since she started pitching). I know her father (just like many other fathers and mothers) has been there every step of the way, encouraging and working with her to help her sharpen her skills!

 

Congratulations Megan, on a very successful year! It is exciting to watch you work! Can't wait to see you with the Brentwood Blues this summer! Keep those Ks a comin'!!!
