PUJO---- Byrd broke his hand cause he was playing against some real vicious men in the Boyd game...great times 39-8, cloudland must be glad that they wont ever have to play THAT Boyd team again.

MARK BYRD GETS MY VOTE

Trae Helton played the Cloudland game last year with a broken thumb and a cast on his right hand and still had a huge game against Cloudland at receiver and middle linebacker. He is as tough as they come and can play any position. He has played tailback, some quarterback, of course receiver, and on defense safety, outside linebacker, and middle linebacker. He also punts very well and returns kicks and punt. He has seen playing time for the cherokees for the past five years. Byrd is good and does lots of things, too. I think they are the best two in single a.

I think you guys are forgetting Austin James at Greenback.......He passed for over 3,000 yards as a sophmore, and I think he broke the Greenback single season record for TD passes.

michael paul gilbert from oakdale is a great athlete and a great football player i dont know about the best in 1a but he is very good.

Paul Tidwell from Whitwell will standout this year in 1A 6-5 285 strong as an ox.

CPA's Travis Sikes (and only a Junior) is a great athlete and will have his choice of D1 football or basketball scholorship by the time he finishes. Rotates at QB and receiver - incredible hands. Great defensive back and very smart. Hard hitter. I look forward to seeing Mark Byrd play based on the posts I read about him. Maybe CPA will meet them in the playoffs.
