Does Smith not have one kid at Central and the other two are at Halls. I bet if he went to Powell his kids would have to go with him. I do not know all the rules about eligibility. I would say that would be tricky since he lives in Halls.

Smith has been at Central--- he now knows how to bend and break the rules without getting caught. He has learned from the best of them.

I don't deny that Kelly did a great job as a coach at Powell, but he pretty much burned any bridge he might have back with his actions at the Central/Powell game year before last.

Are Roberson and Smith that good of coaches? They both had success at the middle school level but that is a different ball game than on friday night. Why did Smith leave Powell anyway?

I wasn't as close to the program then as I am now so I don't have first hand knowlege, but i've been told that he and Clark simply had a difference of philosophy. Knowing both personalities, I don't find that far fetched at all.

 

Daryl is a good guy, as is Clark. Sometimes coaches simply don't mesh.

 

By the way, to answer the coordinator question, head coach Larry Stephens will share the offensive coordinator position with Matt Lowe, while Bobby Dagley and Rusty Partin will be the co-defensive coordinators.

i wasnt talking about anyones coaching abilities......you guys missed my point......or didnt want to address it........the same thing people want to say central is doing now......was happening when the same coach was at powell.......there......clear enuff?.......and im wishing coach stephens and his staff the best of luck this season...coach stephens is a class act!..not a phony!
