It's my understanding that SD had several injured players, 10 to be exact, that did not participate in the scrimmage. Coffee County obviously didn't see the true SD team, but I'm not taking away from their victory either. I spoke with one SD player yesterday at church, and he offered several compliments to the Coffee County program. Coach Price, the team, and fans should expect a solid season!

The finale tally was 6-3. Coffee Co looked very good. SD had 6 def starters out and 4 off. starters out, including both running backs.

I agree with gdrake. Soddy Daisy better have had 10 starters out because Coffee County handed then their butts on last saturday. But I also beleive that even with their 10 players in there Coffee County would have given them a hard time. If not still beaten them

I don't think anyone said anything about a state championship but they did say they beat Soddy in a scrimmage which is very far from a state championship game. Thanks.

Congrats to you in Manchester. Keep working hard and good things will keep coming to you. I believe Oakland is scrimmaging Soody on Fri. Can you give me any players for Soddy to watch out for?

CC can be beat, they were dominated by 1A South Pittsburg in a scrimmage this summer. I don't know what that says about South Pittsburg or what that says about SD, but it happened.

 

Maybe CC is much improved, heck I don't know.

 

I'm waiting on that 9-1 season that a couple of SD fans/players said they would have this year. Only time will tell!!
