WesVLT
MBA wins 17-13...thoughts on the game?
OnlineLC
A totally entertaining game. Brohm is the real thing for sure. Did you notice the 40 yard pass he got off with someone tugging his shirt while he was running? Fisher also looked great.
BDURHAM
Didn't see it, but it proves how strong the tradition is at MBA. Fred Fisher's son having a great game against a national powerhouse has to be one of the best stories MBA grads have heard or experienced. Given Coach Rutledge's spring/summer, the win is even sweeter. Anyone see Coach Rutledge this afternoon playing for Alabama vs. Nebraska on ESPN Classic? MBA football is in good hands. WesVLT
I saw him this morning in a loss to USC. He is a fantastic coach who has now given MBA national prominence.

bulldog12
Man I am all tha way in Northern Virginia, and all I could think about was the MBA, Trinity game. I wanted MBA to upset them, but for some reason I thought Trinity was going to roll over the Big Red. Guess I was wrong! WesVol's play-by-play had me sweating and my finger is tired from clicking the refresh button over and over again. It sounds like Fisher had lots of passing yards in this game! GO BIG RED! GOTGFan
How long was the last Trinity touchdown from Tompkins to Brohm? THANKS ALOT!
WesVLT
20 yards. It was a screen, and Tompkins tightroped the sideline for the TD.
bulldog12
Hey Wes Great play by play! How many yards did Fisher have?
WesVLT
Fisher had a bunch! I don't know specifics, but I'd peg it at least 325+.
lockdowncorner
Well obviously Brohm has the stuff and lived up to his expectations. The thing that stands out from this game was Fisher. I thought Fisher was just as good as Brohm. He definitely deserves some recognition after the performance he made tonight. Overall great game from beginning to end. WesVLT
Fisher was just about as good as Brohm, plus he had a better supporting cast. The MBA D-line was fierce all night, and despite cramps the D-backs made place when necessary. The Big Red were easily the better team.
