What does any one know about Taft?

Can someone tell me about Taft. My Bulldogs play them this week and noone can tell me about them, not even the coaches or players.

No one ever knows anything about Taft until the night you play them. I have played them the past 3 years. Its a correction center, so you think that they will play dirty and run their mouths, but they are the nicest team you will play. But they will still hit you thats for sure. Their team changes often so you can never tell who will or won't play, just come ready to face everything.

If they have the same kids they had last week when we played them, you had better get ready. They are extremely fast, more speed than I have seen in a long time on one team. They run off tackle well and then bounce it outside and they pitch, pitch, pitch. Their qb is a real talent, fast, quick, great feet and does not go down easy. You think you have him pinned in, and he gets out of trouble.

 

They run 8 men in the box on defense and blitz almost every single play. You think you could pass on them and if you have some a couple of good wide-outs you can, IF you have time to throw it.

 

They are convicts, obvsiously, but they are a great group of guys at the same time, they bicker with each other but showed very good sportsmanship to us. Of course that is easy to do when you win 48-6. Coaches are great guys.

Speed kills.... They had 2 punt returns for touchdowns and an interception return for a TD. I think the closest game they have had all year they won by about 30.
