To say who is the greatest coach in Tennessee is impossible. To understand a coach you have had to played for him at some point. To be a good high school coach I do not think you can look at the win/loss record. At the high school level it is more about having a positive impact on your players. This cannot be judged in Wins/Losses. Remember guys football is not just about X's and O's, its about Timmies and Joes.

WELL SAID!!!! There is a lot more to a great coach

than a win - loss percentage. A great coach teaches the plays needed for life and not just on the field.

Larry Smith of Morristown EAST. He is in his first year coming from North Carolina, where he won state championships, to a team that had won 4 games in the past 3 years. Through 5 games this year we are 4-1, of course we've weakened our schedule this year though. He's getting the feeling of winning back to EAST High. Thank you Coach Smith.

I AGREE WITH MIKE MARTIN AT MEIGS COUNTY. HE HAS BEEN AROUND FOR A WHILE, BUT HAS NEVER RECEIVED THE RECONITION HE DESERVES. HE HAD THE TOP OFFENSE AT SWEETWATER WHEN HE WAS ASSISTANT COACH. GIVE HIM A FEW YEARS WITH THIS YOUNG TEAM AT MEIGS COUNTY AND I THINK YOU'LL SEE A BIG IMPROVEMENT IN THE WHOLE PROGRAM.

Hey boyz!

I hate to get on the red rebel band wagon, but how can anyone argue with George Quarles not being the best?

Check his record...31 in a row! 3 state championships in a row!

Somebody is doing something right!

However, I can go with Bill Young, Gary Householder, Benny Hammonds, Steve Brewer (not a good year this year).

I cannot go with Graham Clark. I don't think he gets the most of the talent that he has. He loses games he shouldn't lose.

Great coaches win the games they are supposed to and a few they are not supposed to. They also do not lose to less talented teams.

Love you boyz!

OH Susie-Q, baby I Love You!

True-dat!
