Only one observation: The official did not make a very judicious decision. He had better options. There was only 50 seconds left in the game so he could have done either of three things. 1. Simply ignore it for fifty seconds. 2. Ask the constable to stand near the offending parties for fifty seconds. 3. Have them ejected. Also considering that there was a lot of baiting coming from the other side.

I watched the cop spray the kid and then the kid covered his eyes and was trying to wipe his eyes out when the cop was trying to pull his hands away so he could spray him again. I know the cop used the pepper spray because I also got a dose myself. The mist from it got in my eyes and I inhaled some of it. I agree that they should have been made to leave but this kind of force was not necessary especially with 50 seconds on the clock. This all could have been avoided. There was even someone who came over there and was helping the kid wipe his eyes out while the cop was on top of the boy.

FIRST OFF Stokomo DO NOT INCLUDE ME WITH ANY OTHER PEOPLE WHO GETS ON THIS THREAD,LIKE RAINMAN.

I NEVER SAID ONE WORD ABOUT PROBATION NOR DID I DOWN THE SCHOOL OR THE BASKETBALL PROGRAM,I ASK ONE QUESTION ABOUT FANS GETTING TOSSED AND TECH. FOULS. SEEMS LIKE EVERYTIME I GO TO A GAME SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAPPENS (FANS GETTING TOSSED OR FANS RAISING CANE ON THE OFFICIALS) YOU TALK ABOUT THE KIDS LIVES BEING IMPRESSED BY WHAT THEY SEE AND HEAR ? SO IS IT ALL RIGHT FOR THE FANS TO ACT LIKE A BUNCH OF CLOWNS ? I GUESS THE YOUNG MEN DO NOT SEE OR HEAR ANY OF THIS?

THE TRUTH HURTS B)

first of all stokomo, we have the right to post on any of the threads that we please, including myself. you my friend are not superior so get off acting like you are. as for probation, you better believe (not your team) but your school administrators are responsible for the conduct of your fans. never did i say anything about any player on that team being involved, but merely your fans conduct will be and must be accounted for. in the future, coach, stick with coaching basketball and quit whinning everytime someone post something that rubs you in the wrong way. i admire your fan support and some of the post are rather interesting but you sometimes are a headcase.

As I grew up, we were not allowed to "air out our dirty laundry" in public. I've watched this tread and that is what seems to be happening. With close to 8500 views on this thread, I would think most people would want to portray positives instead of negatives. Every program in the state has internal issues they have to deal with, but few feel the need to post them for everyones viewing pleasure. Personally, I'm sick of seeing it show up on the front page, only to find petty arguments that have little or nothing to do with the players. Seems people want to make it about themselves when it is supposed to be about the kids. I'm not bashing anyone, just stating my opinion of what an outsider sees.

free speech- the right to express "any" opinion in public without censorship or restraint. i too like to be positive but sometimes that's not possible. you ask for a solution to correct what happened at the game. disbar them from coming to the all sporting events. if they are a student then deal with it from school policy, after all they were representing your school regardless if they wore the a uniform or street clothes. i have never seen names printed nor do I know who the person or person involved are. but when we go to a sporting event, we must make sure it is safe for the entire family. so stokomo, you remain your positive self and i will continue to state my case to the best of my ability.

here's a rolling stones tune you can sing that might help you get though the day.

hey, you get off of my cloud, i mean thread

i, for one, was not trash talkin.i was jus puttin a little ironic twist on ur playful pun. as for what happened,i dont know.i was not sittin on that side.i could not hear what was said.but i could read the guys lips and he was cussin and before the cop could escort him out,he started pushin him.at that point,he should not have continued to struggle, but jus been cuffed and went to the car.no,he continues to struggle,u dont do that after u push a cop.repeat after me,UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DO YOU PUSH A COP.but no,he struggles even more and resisted arrest.from what i saw,the boy was pepper sprayed by the cop after he bit the second cop,and yes he did bite him.how stupid can u get?did the other side create part of the problem?yes,we did,but we were not warned by cops and refs to stop.should we have been warned?maybe,if not then they shouldnt have been warned either, but we wouldve stopped after bein warned.and they shouldve been warned, even with my ears i heard those guys harassin the refs, and what they said was a lot worse than what we were sayin
