MT. PLEASANT AT EZELL-HARDING

Mt. Pleasant will travel to Ezell-Harding this friday night,

for 1st Round Playoff action. The Tiger's of Mt. Pleasant are

on the rebound from an 0-10 season last year to 8-2 this

year, this will be there first appearance in the playoffs since

'97.They are a much improved team from week 1 and

are hungry to win. What are thoughts on this game? Can

the Tiger's match up?

Should be a good game, Mt. Pleasant is lucky because CPA had to drop to three in this region. So instead of getting DCA, they get Ezell Harding. Ezell is really the number three seed in the region and this game should be very even. Ezell usually hads a bunch of athletes and I know they have a great QB. Good luck to both sides.

Ezell by as much as they want.....face it, they had david lipscomb 7-0 at the half last week....thats something to brag about.

Ezell by a bunch. They could be the sleeper of the playoffs. Can score quick and some good athletes. The way to beat them is to have great coaching on defense and run the ball and the clock. Mt. Pleasant shouldn't match up.

Didn't say they didn't. Haven't seen them play, but don't believe the 3rd place team in Region 6 can beat Ezell. Ezell's played well since CPA game and their performance against Lipscomb was impressive. I still say Ezell wins easy. I really would like to see Mt. Pleasant win. I would rather play them down the road than Ezell.

Not so fast my friend, I'm not sure you would rather play the

Tiger's on any night I guess we'll have to see what happens this

Fri. night. I've heard Ezell's QB is very good and the receiver's

are quick and can catch the ball. Do they have a good running

back?

No offense to Ezel but I am pulling for Mt. Pleasant....we miss playin you guys....we need to see if we can get that game back in our schedule next year...... the Lewis County vs. Mt. Pleasant rivalry is a good one.

Win or lose MP has alot to be proud of. The only possible upset I see in round one would be MP over Ezell. I would also bet MP is the youngest team in the playoffs so this is great for next year when they should contend for real. MP has exceeded all expections this year and the fans are very proud,things should only get better.

Your right there LCpanthers95, It was a fun game and a rivalry,

but I'm not sure the schedule will allow it anymore? With Zion Chr.

Acad. coming on board next year I think, there would be no room

for any other games but Region. Anyway good luck to the Panther's

in the Playoffs.
