Well the church team won their first game Sat., 87-12, in 2-20 min. halves, with the clock running the whole time. Some of those players used to play at SD and some of the players were asked to play at SD, but........

KH...the one the only Coach Ken Henry from McCallie...the ultimate in using charm to get information and become well liked. He charms his way into being a great coach...just watch his results this year with the talent pool he has to work with.

The new coach at Walker Valley(Steve Moore) is a great coach. I don't think that i know a coach around the Cleveland area that is a better teacher than him.

correction ultimatefan, the score was 83-12! but it was a whooping! i wonder why so many kids are quitting and/or not going out for the team?? Also i was referring to the whole league having more talented players than the high school not just that one team but i think that one team could start for soddy!

The best Coach in Chattanooga is not even Coaching. Ricky Perry at Boyd-Buchanan. He consistently took average players and produced outstanding teams. All of the other Coaches that have been mentioned have tons of athletes and great players. Ricky Perry made his teams.

The whole middle valley church league does have alot of talent. And Middle Valley is not the best team in the league. You know who is? Central Baptist behind the reigning MVP from last year Evan Shipp. We'll see if Middle Valley is so good when they play the talented Central Baptist.

HAHAHA! son you have got to be kidding me!? was that central or first centinary? what church ya'll gonna play for next year? haha! yeah we will see. Evan can't even do a thing other than stand there and shoot, if he is not wide open it's brick city! man i can't wait til that game! middle valley has a cake walk this year with the exception of a tough game against miles straight! guaranteed!

I've been around the Chattanooga area for some time and without a doubt one of the top basketball coaches in the area is Coach Dan Wadley of Tennessee Temple High School. His assistant coach, Kevin Skogen, isn't half bad either -- which is why the Crusaders have been state champs the last two years.

yeah, wadley is a real good coach, they teach good defense and discipline over at temple which is needed in high school

Not that many other coaches in Chattanooga with 2 state championships, much less in the past 2 years!... Im sure Coach Wadley has to be considered at least in the Top 3, if not the #1 coach in Chattanooga.

Robert High at Brainerd is the MAN!
