CYJacket
In 1a schools the same athletes must play all sports in nearly every situation. Now, some only play two and that doesn't make them less of an athlete. Coalfield has been blessed for may years with a numerous athletes. This year is no exception. Also, there are several patiently awaiting their turn. It has been a while since the want to win was at Coalfield. It is back, maybe with a vengence. Good luck to all region teams. Play hard, play to win, and in the end we all go home winners. Edited November 21, 2003 by CYJacket
kingbrian3
I was impressed at times with Coalfield, but they have to play intense for four quarters. Hensley is a very explosive offensive player as long as he doesn't force things. Foster can dominate inside if he wants to. Lowe has impressed me with his effort and can take over a game, but e needs to take better care of the basketball. Gilbert handles the team well, but needs to get his anke heeled up. Overall, this might be the most talent assembled at Coalfield in a long, long time. If they play with effort every time out, play team ball on offense, and work on help side defense, then it could be a special season.
