Best Sophomores?

Has anyone watched anybody from the class of 2006? Do you know of anybody who could become a standout in Tennessee?

I think the player from the class of 2006 that has the most potential is

Jerry Duckett from Craigmont High. He is about five foot five but is

quick as lightning.

I think I've heard that Brandon Wright is pretty decent!

Brandon Wright is without a doubt the best sophomore in the state, possibly more. This kid is ready to play major college ball right now. Also, Willie Kemp from Bolivar is a wonderful talent. I watched him play a game last summer and for the first 3 quarters I wasn't impressed. In the 4th, he simply took over and carried his AAU team past Brandon Wright's. One of Kemp's teammates, Pierre Niles is one of the best rebounders I've ever seen at any age.

 

Closer to home, 7AAA is loaded in sophomores. Most notably, Siegel with Keith Ramsery, Wright's AAU teammate, and Darius Roper. Also, Cookeville has a couple of sophomores who can play. Riverdale has Gaston Miller. Warren County has four sophomores who will play a lot for their varsity this year, Brooks Majors, Shay Glenn, Warren Swann, and Brandon Adcock. White County's freshman team from last year beat all of these except Cookeville with solid team play. Mark it down right now, someone from District 7AAA will win the state championship in 2006.

Jeremiah Crutcher has to be the best in Metro without a doubt

Livingston Academy has some good sophomore guards, Brandon Matthews and Wilson Cates. Not ready for the NBA yet, but they have some good potential.

Zach Frey from Goodpasture is solid now and will only become better. Stands at 6'7 with room to grow.

Thad Young of Mitchell 6-7 SG/SF had 31 points and 17 rebounds Tuesday vs Ridgeway. 6-6 soph. forward Andre Thorton added 24 points and 7 assists.

Beau Brown, a sophmore at McMinn Central is really good. He came out against CSAS and scored 30 points the first game...I think he is going to have a really good season, and a great two more years. I look to see him playing at a D-1 college after high school.

Caldwell Cuningham, for ECS, is a dynamite player, he is 6 feet 4 inches, and plays gaurd, he has an amazaing 3 point shot, and amazing overall shot, this guy has potential, might not shine this year, but definitely has a BRIGHT future.

Some good midstate players are Joshua Bone who plays along side of Brandon Wright, Josh hit 25 on Henry Harris in a scrimage game but Henry delivered 27 on him, but some other good players from midstate are John Hobson, Clarence Smith, Walter Morgan , Michael Jones, Uryan Scales, Wil Peters, the Lee Twins Ryan & Joseph, Jermiah Cruther, JR Crenshaw, Morgan,James Winrow, and Reggie Edwards
