Pickett County vs. Livingston Academy

Pickett County hosts Livingston next Tuesday. Will this be a good game? Does anyone have predictions and interesting player matchups?

I also would say that Livingston will win. They are a great team. They are off to a great season I do believe.

 

Does Pickett Co. play Smith Co. on Saturday? If so, What Time?

i will have to agree with muffin. it should be a very good game but i say that pickett comes out on top.

Pickett beat Smith Co. 68-51 on Thursday, but didn't score until 15 seconds were left in the 1st quater. They were down 9-0, but finally began to play and caught them at 18-18 and pulled away. They will have to play better to beat Gordonsville today and MUCH better to beat AA Livingston on Tuesday.

pickett has some shooters as always but i say LA's got this one....they got a tough defense that should be able to handle pickett.

I dont know a lot about either team, but judging by the fact that pickett co. beat cumberland co....im gona have to go with them. granted i know that just because they beat the jets, doesnt mean they can beat ol hog-eye

What attitude? Joseph Bailey has a great attitude. He has one of the best attitudes I've seen in a long time. He worked hard all summer to improve and every coach I've talked to praised his attitude. With the way he's playing he should be a Mr. basketball candidate.

Pickett will have to play a very good game to beat AA Livingston. Being a much larger school and being one of the best in 7AA, they should be heavy favorites any time these two schools play considering Pickett Co. is one of the smallest schools in the state. LA will be up for this game I think to avenge their 100-61 loss the last time these two teams met. Shouldn't a good AA team be expected to beat a small A team?

Bailey had 27 against Smith Co. on Thursday and 31 against 8A favorite Gordonsville on Saturday, even though he was out for a while with an injury.
