ok, you guys know that it is unevitable that there will most likey be 2 state champions in one of the weight classes. the three gentlemen i'm referring to are james (Soddy daisy), cordell (Bradley), and ibrahim (overton). i think the coolest thing would be to have all three guys in the same weight class...this will consist of 5 state titles!!! what do u guys think about this?

also, don't forget about the dII guys. hiller (father ryan), and simpson (mba) should be around those two weight classes too. anyone know what tourney these guys may encounter each other? is soddy coming to the father ryan invitational? any of those matches will definitely be extraordinary to witness in my opinion.

i just wanna hear some opinions from u guys (no bias please).

119-Shawn Speroff (Coll.)-last year won region @ 112, placed 6th in state----

Others to watch(i dont know official season weights)-Jonas Gibbs (Ridg.), Luke

Groves (Hous.)

125-Chris Baker (Bart.)-last year won region @ 125, won Ridgeway Tourney----

Others to watch-Chad Warren (Ridg.) won Germantown Tourney, Brandon

Wright (Hous.), Jeff Hunt (Coll.)

Once again, I can't be positive that all these wrestlers will remain remain at these weights throughout the season. I think Wright of Houston will bump to 130. Coaches or fans can correct me. I'm not brave enough to make 1-4 predictions for region until I see a little more wrestling. Speroff won't be back until after Christmas, but I don't think anyone can beat him. Chad Warren looked good at Germantown, so I would give him a decent chance of beating Baker. That's what I think at least. Do you guys agree?

Yes, Jonas Gibbs and Chad Warren will be at 119 and 125, respectively. They both are wrestling great and should have outstanding seasons. Speroff from Collierville and Baker from Bartlett will be the biggest challenges. Yes, Wright (Houston), Hunt (Collierville), and Groves (Houston) will be stiff competition. But don't forget 119'ers Quint from Bartlett and Winston from Kingsbury, they are definitely in the mix.
