119 and 125

I would look for Kyle James to win in which ever weight class he his in. I am not sure whether he is 119 or 125 but good luck to him either way.

As i have heard Spreoff is out for a while, dont have many details but some say he wont be back till christmas. Will he be in shape enough to wrestle and make a difference on the Collierville team? Groves and Wright of Houston will be wrestling 119, 125, or 130 this year. Wright(freshman) has been strong lately look for his sucess at Blackhorse. Groves is looking pretty good. He is getting used to wrestling the 125lb guys. Baker is looking real tough this year. With his weight right at 124, 125 he will be a big challenge this year at state. Also, Jonas will be a challenge at 119 this year in Region 8.

Speroff is alright, but he's definitely not the best, especially if he's going to wrestle in the competitive weight classes (119, 125).

 

dang, i didn't know mcgavok could actually score as many points as they did on father ryan. that's interesting...did father ryan give up a bunch of forfeits or something, or did father ryan take mcgavok too lightly? i'm pretty sure dunning and hiller will drop down...does anyone know where?

Speroff is practicing with the team, and he should be ready to return after Christmas in good shape.

 

Wright of Houston is now looking at going 130. We'll see how he does against the competition at Blackhorse.

James was at 30 at the Southern Open. Depending on how much weight he can cut, I would look for him at 25. I doubt he would drop to 19 to get Cordell.

Knowing Kyle's reputation I would bet that he could have made 125 for the Southern Open, but chose to stay at 130 for better competition. Doesn't that sound like something he would do?

I saw alot of young talent last year at 119 at the ryan tourny.who was the best freshman 119 last year. i was going to say hendersonville's but i heard he got pinned by mt. juliets 119 last year at regional
