This year in TN, Bradley is my pick for the best team. As far as the Southeast goes, Brandon is my choice. They have their best pool of talent ever. They have multiple freestyle and greco national champions and all-americans on their team inclding Cozart, Craig, and Grajales. They have quality top to bottom. They are returning 5 or 6 state champs. In addition, Joyce at 112 was a state champ in the 7th grade at 103 last year and has transferred to Brandon to join his older brother, state champ last year. Brandon will be traveling to the Beat of the East this year to test themselves against national competition. I will go out on a limb and predict a top ten team finish.

RMC, it was nothing personal towards Collins Hill nor Ringold, they are both excellent teams. I was just using Ringold as an example because they have wrestled both McCallie and Bradley.

THanks to best of the west and sly for the info. i personally think bradly is the best team in the state, i just wanted to hear everyones opinion about the subject. i'm also one of those 100% opposers to the DI DII split, so i'll never be happy with "the best in the state" quote because the fact of the matter is if you haven't beat the number 1 team in the other division, who is to say which is the best.

Just for the record, I never said Bradley was better than Brandon, FL. I know nobody accused me of that, but the discussion seems to be turning that way, and I personally know almost nothing about Brandon except that they are ranked higher than Bradley.

MARYVILLE IS A GOOD TEAM, AND I THINK CAN COMPETE WITH BRADLEY... CALL ME NUTS (OO) BUT I THINK MARYVILLE MIGHT RANK IN STATE DUALS AND MAYBE UPSET BRADLEY... ANYWAYS.. FYI there is no Bradley middle. You will either wrestle Lake Forrest or Ocoee Middle. Ocoee has had pretty good wrestling teams these last few years. I don't really know about this year though. Good Luck.

Just a thought, and to get it out side by side. Did Collins Hill not beat McCallie? And Bradley not beat Collins Hill? Just a thought... I mean i still see why you would want the D I and D II schools to wrestle, but since they aren't, is that proof enought, just a thought......

LovinIt.....i agree, boy would that be a site to see.....the 2 best teams in the southeast to go head2head at the virginia duals. at least people on here would truly see who is the best team in the southeast states of US.
