redupset
Heard that as a real strong rumor @Hardees Anybody else hearing this ?? Back to Blount County WB???
GovMan
It sounds incredible, BUT ... if you heard it at Hardees ...I can't believe folks would throw out unsubstantiated rumors at a fine, fast food restaurant (one that now only does one thing--burgers--and does them well) such as Hardees. Which location did you you hear this rumor at?
redupset
Exit 8 the White Pine Exit across from Cracker Barrell Seems as though he was renting out his house- but when the renter moved out - could not make 2 house payments. Also upset that the Fieldhouse was not completed and still underfunded. Will first year wonder Coach Hutch from Mcminn ride back into town ? ? ? Coach Meadows has restored this once proud progam- has anyone heard if Coach is looking to move on???? Anyone know anything ??? I CAN'T BELIEVE YOUR KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR WOULD LEAVE. LOOK AT HIS TRACK RECORD. HE NEVER STAYS ANYWHERE MORE THAN THREE YEARS. ALSO, HE NEVER STAYS ONCE THE SENIOR TALENT HAS LEFT. 1) HE WANTS MORE $$$$$$$$$$$$$ 0R 2) THE TALENT LEVEL WILL BE YOUNG NEXT YEAR

KevB1990
I asked a reliable source today about this...Meadows' daughter told classmates she wouldn't be back after Christmas...his wife as tendered her resignation and apparently he is driving to and from Blount County to work in Jeff County. It'll be about a month I'd say and he'll be announced as Billy Blount's head coach.

Red81KPsmash
The rumor mill is certainly churning. Meadows has moved back to Maryville and has applied at WB. That much is true. People continue to say Coach Meadows is leaving because of talent, but people need to realize there are family dynamics to consider. As far as money goes, I do not know many people who would turn down a position that will pay them more for doing the same job. As for you Bud, just keep your mouth shut and beat on your tom-tom or worship your bronze statue of Graham Clark or whatever you Indians do during the off-season. bud
Oh, well pardon me. Next time I will get your permission to post before I post anything again. I can say whatever I want. So get over it.
