To all AAU Coaches,

 

Just wanted to let everyone know the format changes for our Shootout this year. Teams will be put in 3 or 4 team pools. They will play each team in that pool , no cross pool play will be used this year. Following pool play , there will be a single elimination tournament. The order of finish in pool play will determine seeding in the single elimination tourney. I think the change will make our Tournament better than ever.

I was pleased with the tremendous turnout for last year’s Shootout. We had 63 teams entered. We had a very diverse group of teams. Teams ranged from developmental to National caliber. I hope that continues this year. We awarded over $1200 worth of Medals and trophies last year. We will try to upgrade even more this year. We are working with the Lawrenceburg Chamber of Commerce and local merchants to help the participating teams with discounts at restaurants, motels, and other businesses.

If you want to participate in a quality Tournament, I encourage you to come to Lawrenceburg , Tennessee on March 26-28. You will not be disappointed.
