Congrats to BC!!! Where's all those people saying they didn't have a chance against White Station?????

Congratulations to Bradley Central for becoming the champions of the prestigous Arby's classic and earning a win over the White Station Spartans. This is great for Bradley Central and even better for the White Station Spartans. Being the best team in the state doesn' mean that you won't ever lose because sometimes you have your days and Bradley is a very good team. But make no mistake Coach Tippet actually expected for this team to take a loss before Christams and what better time than on a trip where many saw White Station domininate opponents before being ousted by Bradley. Coach Tippett is the master of motivating and adjusting to situations and this only motivates his players to get in the gym and work harder. Tippett now doens't have to tell his team they could be beat but, because now they have been beat. Over the last 4 years Tippet has lost only 2 games in Memphis and his other losses came in out of town tournaments so this is only the beginning.

 

If Coach T could only get his most talented player J.P. Prince to work harder in practice and in his off time on his jump shot this kid would be great. Not looking at the score I imagine that Courtney Pigram didn't have agreat shooting day and the White Station offense centers around penetrating and kicking to a streaky yet deadly shooter like Pilgram. Now Coling Cunningham, Taylor Schall, John Ball, Riley Ervin, and especially Prince must get in the gym and do waht makes them consistantly the best team around practice hard and play as a team. If White Station meets Bradley again then it will be when it really counts with all the marbles on the line not just for a holiday tournament title.

REALDEAL....Just so you don't get too far out in left field...Bradley won't be taking the next month off either. They well remember the game last year in the finals and how it felt to get beat for "all the marbles". Now the Bear KNOW they can beat White Station.......enough said!
