irishdad
I will start with 145 DII, Matt Morales deserves to be ranked. His record at FRHS Inv. 1 J Blair MCC 4-0-0 2 B Davis FH 3-1-0 3 P Walsh KEN 4-1-0 4 M Morales RYN 4-2-0 5 D Smith WEB 4-2-0 6 R Farinella FAR 5-3-0 7 Y Beki BA 4-2-0 8 E Campbell HEN 3-3-0 He has wrestled very well even going up to 45 from 40. At CBHS he had some of the best matches and unfortunate reffing in the tournament. I would give him 4th at least 4th
gopher15
Aren't there only like 10 schools in D2? How hard can it be to make the top 6?
BayouBear
You are right about the Bradley guys at 103 and 135. Johnson is at 103 and Ensminger is at 135. @152 - McMackin-DB beat Spain-Bradley 4-2 in OT at the Cleveland Duals and Spain beat Turner-Farragut 6-2 in the Semi's at the Bradley Invitational. irishdad
Aren't there only like 10 schools in D2? How hard can it be to make the top 6? Have you seen Matt wrestle? Since I don't set the rankings I don't know how hard it is. But I will say when the rankings came out 12/23/03 @160 Aaron Bateman was ranked 4th and had not had a varsity match Mayo had started from day one. So, perhaps someone has not really looked at Matt..In another string concerning Dad/Son State champs he is mentioned as a possibilty..so you tell me why he is not ranked... nununu
Will there be any new rankings next week. There have been several upsets, and several matches that happen this week. Will we have to wait another 3 weeks for rankings. Also, what happened to the other guy that was doing the rankings, haven't heard anything since before Xmas. best_of_the_west
Where the heck is Collierville? They finished ahead of both Rossview and Kenwood at the Kenwood duals (without the full varsity team). They lost to Franklin by only 3. How about a little respect for the West. Romo_43
I have a question, how do you have a kid like Chris Block from Clarksville ranked when he quit the team over a month ago?

According to you in an earlier post, he is not ranked because he got a bad call in some match that he wrestled. I am guessing that if one call is enough to knock him out of the rankings he doesn't belong there anyway. Honestly, don't you think that you are a little biased in how you see things? delaWarr
The ranker is limited in his ability to sort things out by the information he receives on both teams and individuals. If he doesn't know a particular set of circumstances, he can't reflect those circumstances in his decisions. The rankings can be no better than the information supplied. If the ranker had all of the information from across the state that should be included in the decision-making process, he could then be held more accountable for those decisions on his rankings. deaddux
puckett now @ 03 gave baylors 03 reid doster his first loss of the year recently @ the greenville tournament- doster had previously beaten the d1 #1 103 and won the mccallie tourney - puckett isn't horribly slick but his size will make him a contender @103 in d2 @119 geismar beat simpson the last time they wrestled(state tourney 03) no complaints here - 1 suggestion if someone sees somthing they don't agree with pass on your suggestion - but back it up with head to head results - that will help make the rankings less subjective - truth of the matter- it just gives people something tolook at and talk about until february.
