Apparently anyone who disagrees with you is just speaking garbage! But you are aloowed to disagree with others because you know so much! I don't know the first thing about father Ryan, I am just ammused by the fact that you don't seem to know the first thing about anythinr outside of that school!

No gopher only you. For someone who does not know anything about my school your very harsh in your replies. Again, you are incorrect about my knowledge of other schools. Ask anything you want about DII wrestlering and I would be happy to fill in your blanks. You seem to be a very unhappy, mean spirited person. You are not what this forum is about.

P.S. We don't teach our kids to make excuses..but we do teach them how to spell correctly..let me know if you need a tutor.. <_<;):):D

Hey Gopher please tell me who you support so I can bring my Irish and kick there tails. first I have never claimed we are the best at all weight classes. With that statement you do show your ignorance. But as a team we are very very strong. We have wrestled twice in Ohio placing second and third, third @ Mcallie without three starters, first @ frhs Inv, second @CBHS losing to Park Hill and we have not lost a regular season match to date. My bias has nothing to do with the fact that we have a great squad. But me in charge on the rankings ..it would be a pleasure. It would be accurate and fair.

Plus I never said one bad call knocked Matt Morales out of placing any where. But I will put him up against your 140 or 145 just bring it gopher boy!!!!!!!!

Who is gopher? Who is irishdad?

Just to bottom line it..... if everyone would submit results, the rankings would be more accurate. There are a lot of school insiders that spend a considerable amount of time online, yet do not send in results.

I guess it is much more fun to sit back and complain about things.

Young Mr. Hamm, You will discover, as a wrestling activist, that you are driven to get things happening for the benefit of wrestling. You will do them all to best of your ability, considering resources and time. You will recognize the short-comings and the screw-ups of your endeavors on your own (without being told), most probably being your own toughest critic. You will become even more mindful of the big picture as time goes on. But regardless of the beefs that come your way, you will continue to contribute in a big way because your love of the sport is so much greater than the letdowns from unconstructive criticism.

Over the years, it has come to attention that those who are most actively involved in actual grunt-work, whatever it may be, in expanding and improving opportunities within the sport, are by far the least likely to offer unconstructive criticism to a fellow-doer.

Just realize that those folks whose involvement reaches deep into the welfare of the sport, will almost without fail, understand and appreciate what you are doing (with flaws, mistakes and all), even though they may never avail the opportunity to tell you.

I will take advice from Dela anyday....Thanks for helping us younger coaches out...and activists. I really appreciate all you have done for the sport in TN.

Hamm,

Don't let these guys rattle you. From what I see on your rankings, you are pretty darn close, and I don't know how many people realize your knowledge and insight into the TN wrestling community. I have seen you travel long distances just to get the info you have. We appreciate your work at Smyrna...Just wish we could give you some info that would be worth ranking this year....

Well since Soms is one of your guys, I will assume the advice comment is based on my "fun" post for delaWarr. I stated very clearly that I was just kidding with delaWarr. I assume he can tell by the way I wrote, "just kidding".

I am sure he (could be she, I don't know) gives good advice. Seems to have a good sense of humor and displays it on the board in my view.

So don't feel the need to be so quick to come to his defense. No offense intended or written in that post.

This board is for clean, fun and interesting entertainment. In fact, I bought the package to support it. Relax and have some good fun with it.

;)

    • Never in my life have I seen a team in a scrimmage against their own defense look so lost and confused. The defense didn’t look much better, the coaching staff can’t keep their anger together, not only with the players but also with their other coaches. I feel awful for those players. None of them look like they wanted or should’ve been out there, but for the grown men on the sidelines acting like fools, it's just embarrassing to the Farragut name and reputation. I now see why they chose not to live stream this on their YouTube channel.
    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
