Gordonsville plays a wide open 2-3 zones but nobody can score against it. Their record is llike 13- 1 but you don't hear anything about them. Somebody let a dowg know what's up with the tigers.

Gordonsville is ranked #1 in the AP poll. Their record is 13 & 1. The 2 losses you are talking about is in the Pickett County Tip off classic. The games in the tip off classic does not count under the TSSAA rules. Good luck to the tigers.

Yes they do. They play at Westmoreland Jan. 23 & they them at gord. Feb. 6th

I dont think that 2-3 zone would work against a great shooting team like NCS.

The zone defense has worked pretty well with everyone the Tigers have played this year. It's kinda hard for it not to when you have two guys up top with very long arms, very good speed, and can jump high. Plus three guys down low that are aggressive has h#!! and won't take anything from anyone. I guess the reason why it works the most is the fact that the boys can score the next trip they have down the court. They are such a good scoring team, fast breaks and plays. I'm very proud of the Gville men, especially the seniors John, Kyle, and Boo who have taken this team to a different level this year. Way to go guys and good luck in the rest of the season.

Gville deserves to be where they are... I really didnt think they would be this good without Dusty Ray... I take it his injury will not be healed by tourney time...

Dusty should be back in a couple of weeks. Although he may not be much of a shooting threat, he will definitely be a defensive threat.

We'll see on Jan.23 who the top team in the district really is. It should be a good game, but I say G-ville by 6. Their defense will be too tough for the Eagles. They are looking to avenge their loss in the district tournament last year. Go get 'em guys! Good luck #32!
