It's means nothing. There are set out guidelines for seeding meetings, and I don't think that there usually is much room for could haves or should haves. I am sure Coach Delgado can clarify the guidlines, but I think it goes something like this:

1. Head-To-Head

2. State Place

3. Region Place

4. Previous years tournament placing

...after that i dont know what....

SPED, either way, Quint got rocked by both Jonas and the White Station kid. I'm sure Speroff and Groves would beat him. He just doesn't have any fire. He's taken down to easily.

"Why not?" It would be extraordinarily confusing and, even more, extraordinarily poor logic to try to use "but he was winning before he lost" as a criterion for seeding.

Yea but I still think Jonas has a good chance with Groves. And SPED your right, Schmidt has beaten Harrison. He is probably going to take 3rd or 4th.

There is no "set in stone" criteria, but head to head is by far the most important. Sometimes common opponents is also looked at. As far as having a lead prior to losing, that almost never comes out. Even when it does, it is only out of desperation for a seed and is usually ignored. The seeding meeting is a lot of fun. At most seeding meetings there are compromises and concessions. At regional seeding meetings, the gloves come off and no holds are barred.

He should have received a fax indicating that the names must be sent in in advance. Ask him if he has received it. If not, he needs to contact Coach Holmes for a copy of the fax.

These are more so rankings, rather than who I personally am predicting will place where at regions. I just tried to take the results from throughout the year and make sensible judgements on where the wrestlers might be seeded. There are still a few big duals to decide some seeding issues...Collierville v. Houston, Houston v. Germantown, Collierville v. Bolton, etc.

And is Josh Martin of Bolton out for the season?

Josh went back to the surgeon today and he has to have surgury on his shoulder. He will have a 3 month recovery time, so he is out for the season. He is however still attending practice and matches and helping to coach and pump up his teammates.
