Yeah when he came to Rockwood he almost broke our rim. Would have made him pay for that, but was a sweet jam. Rockwood players gave him huge props for it, and I thought it was cool. I got Kingston in a good game.

This will be a preview of the district championship game this year. AC will win this one since it is that their place and Kingston will win the one at their place.

 

AC and Kingston have different types of teams. AC has no inside presence and Kingston has no backcourt. So it should make for a interesting game.

 

The key to beating Kingston is stopping Poole, he is the player that can hurt you most. Sitsler will get his 20 points, but if you can keep Poole from getting his it will be tough for Kingston.

 

Key to stopping AC will be stopping the penetration then kick outs. As soon as you collapse on Lowery he will kick out for a 3 by Mott, Chaniott, Humphrey. As soon as you dont collapse Lowery will put the ball in the hoop or draw the foul. Also you will have to get through their very difficult press. This can be crucial to a poor back court for Kingston. But if you get past these things you can usually beat AC, but it is easier said then done. For Eldridge is the best coach in the district and he will have his boys ready to execute.

 

AC by 5 in the first meeting, and Kingston will win the second one..

If Sitzler is gonna tear down the rims he better do it before the game, and get the game called off. That would be Kingston's best result. Otherwise the game gets played and AC wins by 9.

I pick AC...in a good game, but I think they have too many weapons...plus, TheAnswer9 has a good point......it comes to down to Jones/Humphrey/Fox/Harrie on the inside for AC to determine the winners of this one...control the boards and the game is yours.

Anderson County by 7-11, only because of the style of play.

 

AC had Clinton and Alcoa beat if not for missed free throws. AC is a better coached team, and well disciplined. My only gripe is I wish they were a little meaner.

I pick Andy County. Kingston is one of the best defensive teams I have seen this year, but they just don't have a lot of offense. They're big and good on the inside, but with no ball-handlers, it is tough for them to score at times.

 

With Anderson County's perimeter game, the Mavs win.

I think you were takin a " Sitzler and droppin the kids off at the Poole " while makin that prediction. Losses at home to Cosby, Camp. Co., and Gibbs, with blowout losses to Maryville, and twice to AE, don't show the kind of form to back up your prediction. I'll stay with AC by 9, unless the Mav's get real hot and then it'll be "Woodshed time".
