RMC
Walkenvol...I thought it was great. I watched from the rail by the statue. You son did an outstanding job. I've never seen a crown like that before either. That McCallie student cheering section was really something. I thought Jordan Leen putting the "brakes" on was pretty special too. smwwrest
Walkenvol, Didn't Geismar finish 2nd last year at 112 lbs behind Jimmy Hiller? Not that it matters, by any measure a great win for the freshman. Where did the Young's wrestle in middle schoool?
nader64
This match is simple...typical McCallie beating Baylor once again. It isn't like in football where we are just better in every aspect but we totally won with energy and emotion in wrestling. I am in Will Young's latin class and told him that I would never forgive him if he lost to Geismar. And sure enough he pulls out the upset. I feel like this was the match of the night. For a freshmen to score points on a senior leader for Baylor was just totally the biggest blow to Baylor. The McCallie fans were at it again out cheering Baylor. Maybe that's because half of Baylor is on disciplinary restrictions.

The Geismar match must have shocked the whole crowd. Wish I could have been there for this one. By the way, I wonder how manageable things have been at Baylor since they went co-ed? How would things at McCallie go if they added the girls as well? soms
mtnrasslin
Whew! Tough night for the Raider supporters. Congratulations to McCallie. They stepped it up beautifully in many pressure situations. Needless to say the McCallie freshmen handled this pressure well. Baylor now has a tough road in the duals but there will be plenty of hard work between now and then to get prepared. And Walkenvol, you are right. What great memories for all the kids involved. The Name
An outstanding job done by McCallie. The sight was extrodinary, and all who saw it will remember the match. I think that Father Ryan will remember it the most...I believe I saw them sitting in the corner on there way to Soddy.
hulkamaniac
And even though im sure the YOUNG twins out of McCallie have been congratulated plenty they still deserve more especially Will(freshman) who defeated Jake Geismer (senior) in the 119 class
Chattcity
Did the Young twins come up through McCallie middle school? They have outstanding careers ahead of them

deaddux
Fun atmosphere - less than stellar performance by Baylor's team -Hopefully they will show a better effort in two weeks when the stakes are raised;but only. if they can get past the Irish.Congrats to the McCallie Team .-jt
