Yea the refs were terrible, the worst I've ever seen. They kicked a Lewis Co. fan out in the 2nd quarter of the girls game for yelling. He paid his 4 bucks he can yell all he wants to that was crap. Then like wadata said Sparky went up for 2 dunks and was undercut both times but no intentional fouls were called. I guess they don't know doing this could end his career, I think it's just cheap. I don't know if I'm the only person who noticed this but we had two celebrities in the house tonight. Fairview was being coached by Jim Mora, the former Colts coach. I kept waiting for him to bust out with his famous "Playoffs? Playoffs? I just want to win a game" speach. Doing introductions and keeping up with the scoreboard was none other than Steve Martin from "Bringing Down the House" and several other great movies. I had fun telling Coach Mora that they weren't going to make the playoffs and that they should just try to win a game after we beat them. :D;)

Yeah Fairview has some trash fans. After their player elbowed one of our players in the nose and he didnt get off the court while we were cleaning up blood, the refs called a T??? and then their fans got up and clapped. The next play one of their players HAPPENED to go down from an elbow and their fans went insane and a couple through their little yellowjacket seats onto the court. Of course these fans were escorted out, but still, dirty players and rediculous fans. Goldenboy when are you going to start shooting in the bathroom after lunch again? That was the best thread to ever hit coacht.

I didn't know Bathroom Basketball had this many fans, I've had several people ask me if it's coming back or not and the answer right now is no. Since I'm in college now I don't have a certain bathroom that I use after lunch, I usually eat somewhere different everyday and then go hang out at Walmart. lol I'll see if I can put something together though to please all of the former Bathroom Basketball fans. :D What about the technical to start the game off? That was stupid also. I always thought the home team let the visitors take the court first as sort of a tradition/courtesy thing but Fairview proved that wrong tonight. They took the court before the girls had even finished shaking hands and ran right through our cheerleaders spirit line. There was no way our boys couldn't run through their warmups. When they stand right in the corner we're running out of to shoot their layups where are we supposed to come out at? I guess next time the guys will just have to run up and down the bleachers so they don't interrupt Fairview's warmups. ;)

first of all, lets get some things straight. We will start with the Fairview-NCS game. No technical was called for the kid bleeding on the court, the ref did not know there was blood and tried to start the game back. If the kid didn't want to get hit he should not have put his nose close enough to get hit, and the player who went down from the elbow actually was kicked in the side of the head by a NCS player while he was on the ground, film doesn't lie, but I will agree that things should not have been thrown on the court. Reading post and watching games this year, I think it is funny that when NCS players do things it is ok, but when it happens to them they cry like the babies they are.

At the Lewis-Fairview game, the fan was warned twice to stop and then was escorted out. As for undercutting a player, if you knew anything about basketball you would not say anything about undercutting. More then once Lewis Co tried to throw lob passes to Sparkman, and the Fairview player reacted to the lob like a rebound, blocked Sparkman out and tried to grab the ball. If the refs were any good, they would have called over the back on Sparkman, which is the correct call. Basketball is a game of pride, if a player goes to dunk, he should expect some contact for the other team. This is not the NBA where you are expected to move out of the way and let some one have a free shot to dunk, if I remember right, there is a thing called a charge, which should have been called more last night in the game. So Lewis Co won the game, by 11pts, so they get mad they didnt win by more over the lowly Fairivew team, and Fairview played a physical game so Lewis Co must find something to whine about, again.

You know i had nothing but respect for goldenboy before this post. Now i realize that your no better than those sorry ncs people always whining and complaining about something. Find something better to do than trash talk Fairview, and if im correct the name of this thread is Lewis and Fairview, nothing about NCS so get a life. Oh yea you know they teach you when your a little kid not to play defense with your nose haha that 52 for ncs stuck his nose where it dont belong, and all the Fairview player did was chin the ball like your taught.

If i am not mistaken with about 39 seconds left in the game the only thing between Sparkman and the rim was air, not a single Fairview player. But, there was one trailing him and that caught him as he went up. I guess those two hands in the lower back were to give him a boost to dunk. Give me a break. That was cheap. I dont post very often but I have to call this one as it was. There was no intent to go for the ball, as Sparkman was already leaving the floor. And, it wasnt just a hard foul, it was two hands to the lower back with the intent to put Sparkman on the ground. It should have been a flagrant foul, horrible no call by the officials.
