What is going on everyone, this is michael peters. It has been a little while since I have been on here. IF there is one thing that I can say in this matter, it is that I know Loop is a great coach. He knows how to bring out the best in his players because he works their butts off, and if the kids are willing to listen and respond to what he teaches them, there is no doubt in my mind that they can be right in the mix for another district title. I can't wait until the RBS Monterey game. Good luck to everyone and WHat is going on Coach Elrod.

Before the game against celina and monterey. The monterey team had heard some rumours about how the Celina coach said he was gonna open up and intire 55 gallon drum full of whip BUTT but he didn't say butt. So i guess thats where monterey got that from...And what is this i hear about someone throwing a dog over the fence...Sounds interesting B)

ELA, are you talking about Tim Taylor? I hope it is our jr high coach who is a good friend of mine but, I don't make those decisions. I have no idea who else has applied.

Yeah, Tim is the only guy I know who would be a potential head coach with a SE endorsement!

      I have no idea who your team is, but Memphis and other Shelby Co. schools have hardly made a dent, if you’re talking Game 15 appearances. Outside of a couple by Whitehaven, I can’t recall the last team in a final.

      Robbed you guy at a chance of 3 state championships. You never kne,sond best team in the west my have beat you also,but you sure deserved the chance to play um.

      Eagleville also loses Brown the catcher, Lamb CF, Mclemore RF (Heck of an athlete) and Drew the 1st baseman. They will be young.

      Good thing we aren’t in Florida then huh? It would benefit a ton of the smaller schools  that don’t have the pools of kids to choose from! They should start by policing Shelby County like they do the rest of the state! Something has to change though and TSSAA knows that!

      Correct, you can whimsically be fired in coaching. A coach that has tenure can stay on as a teacher if released from coaching. If you don’t have tenure as a teacher, you can fired without cause. Your last year as a teacher before tenure is earned you can be fired, but must be given cause. A tenured teacher can be fired, but it is a long hard process requiring the 3 D’s…. documentation, documentation and documentation. I have released 3 tenured teachers, 2 with PHD’s. However, teacher contracts had and still have clauses that state you can be fired for a variety reasons re: being arrested, public drunkenness, inappropriate relationships ect.
