Which part of the state has the best teams

West is clearly where it is at. Good teams from all over the state, but the west has alot more of them.

Memphis by far is a basketball city! I mean not saying the East or Central is bad, but Memphis has a TON of talent.

 

I heard a guy talking the other day who used to live out there, and he said there are more guys with better talent not playing in Memphis than there are playing in the rest of the state.

 

Pretty strong statement I think. Of course I don't know first hand. Just an observation.

Middle Tennessee will definately has a lot of great teams this year and within the next few years will be the best. But there are good teams all over the state so i would say that it is pretty well distributed.

East, Bradley, Central, Brainerd, Cleveland, Rhea, Ooltewah, and many more. They are deeper

ooltewah, cleveland, rhea, etc couldnt hang with any memphis schools except maybe southside or wooddale

 

and cleveland had a lucky win but BC is the only worthy team in East TN

Woodale is really good but not tops in Memphis. I'd put Raleigh-Egpyt and White Station ahead of them

oh I know--I was saying those were two of the worst teams in Memphis

Maybe not this year but traditionally

 

WS, R-E, East, BTW, Kingsbury, Melrose--those are some of the top teams

 

Wooddale is more middle of the road

 

Manassas and SouthSide and Northside and Overton are some of the bad teams

 

I say overall Memphis is much much better than East TN except for BC

We all know that Memphis has the best teams and talent but what region, west, middle, or east has the best teams.

All I know is Giles Co. was best in 2a last year, that's middle Tn.
