CPA vs. McEwen

I dont recall the floor being slick when NCS played @ McEwen. No telling what was going on.

The thing about 4 games in 5 days doesn't really make to much sense....If they were tired then wouldn't it show at the end of the game when they made there come back???No offense i bet it was a great win, but i mean that is just trying to make it sound like you would of beat them worse...

The Floor?? I can understand fatigue being a factor as McEwen played FRA the night before, but lets find something else to blame a close game on!

Milo, read the posts! No one blamed the floor for making it a close game. Every post congratulated both teams on a good team. The slick floor was just an observation. As a matter of fact, it appeared to me to hurt McEwen more than CPA. IT WAS SLICK, and needs to get corrected before the regional.

 

Gotgame, the reason they came back at the end of the game was that they have more athletes than McEwen and appeared in better shape. Also, they got more quality minutes from their bench giving the starters a blow that they needed to end strong. I do believe 4 games in 5 days, a long day at school, a 1 1/2 hour drive did result in them starting slow in the first half. But McEwen's zone defense with Puckett in the middle also had an effect.

 

I'm not making excuses - these are just observations. If you read my previous posts I said I wouldn't be surprised if McEwen had won.

 

I do believe CPA is the better team. To beat McEwen on their floor on Senior night and come back from an 11 point deficit proves it to me. Sikes and Puckett are equally good and Sikes has more talent around him.

First, the floor is the slickest floor that I have ever seen. Secondly, it didn't affect the final score of the game. Third, Puckett is an excellent player, probably at better than Skogen was last year at Temple. Fourth, his asthma seems to bother him greatly. Lastly, it was a great game, and McEwen is a very good team. Very good sportsmanship all around and a great high school atmosphere.

Good win to CPA, although I don't see how McEwen was up most of the game considering they aren't that great of a team. divepix welcome to the "i cant post without getting molested" club. Of course, i do bring it upon myself pretty often.

 

Hobgood is overrated and CPA is better off without him.

I want everybody to know that AHob4CPA is not austin hobgood, i talked with him earlier, and he is upset, so don't think that it is him, if anybody knows who is Ahob4CPA then tell me, just post it up here again, and he isn't overrated at all. But the game was a good game, CPA just didn't play there best.

I was just kidding by the way about Hobgood. Never even seen the guy play.
