Upsets at state?

Well I think it was a big upset when Bornerman lost I honestly think he was better then that kid but they are both good wrestlers...

TJ Hannah beat Rick McKnight in the 135 weight class in a match that decided who would place. I think that was a big upset, because Hannah wasn't given much credit throughout the season, and McKnight was ranked 2nd or 3rd for most of the second half of the season. Bundy upset Ortiz, Coleman, and Tinsley all in a row.

Kevin Kerian of Ravenwood beat Bill Seaman of Mt. Juliet. I thought that was huge to put a 2 time medal winner out of the tournament. 130

Dan Waddell (Fr 140 Baylor) defeated Tate (Sr MBA) in the quarters and Meyers (Sr F. Ryan) in the semis. Watch out for this young man.

Chad Turner was over rated and didn't belong there.

That's what the Tullahoma folks said! He did great for a kid who sat out his junior year with a back decease. Also, he controlled the match with old school wrestling wearing shoes from 1977. He only lost 4 matches all year long and they were when he came back, after missing 3 weeks. We knew he could beat the Tullahma kid and Boreman, but knew he would have problems with Ty Cody because of his shooting style.

By the way Chads partner as a freshman was Steve McKinney from Dobyns Bennett (State Champion 145, 2003).

I think Borman remembers that name. Ask Steve if he thinks Chad is overrated or if Boreman could beat him. Boremans great that's why he's been there before.
