Teams in East Tn

I was trying to figure who are the teams to watch this year. Who should do well in both boys and girls events? What individuals will dominate events? Is there one person or two people that will dominate the events they run, throw, and jump?

This is quite simple. McCallie has the bestteam in the state. Not to mention the best runner/athlete. Michael Bingham was Chattanooga's track dude of the year last year and won the decathalon with ease (even if eh didnt compete in the last two event he still would have won). He dominates the hurdles like they are his women. High Jump, Long jump, what can't he do? Taylor Cartwright, Walter Dozier, anothony Conney, plus many others...including the "slow" but fast James Hazard (remember the name ladies) will takestate with ease. As for the girls. I dont really know. I know Baylor has a shot with those hotties over there that run track (beth mckenzie in particular...what a hot mama) but they lost Ashley Murphy which hurts them.

Better specify what division you are referring to......I don't think they are the best team in the state overall.

And i just want to give a shout out to the most badass pole vaulter this side of the Mississippi. Kirby Waddell is a total badass for Baylor. Not to mention hot as tabasco sauce on a cold day.

I think he used to go to my school like 2 or 3 years ago then he left for McCallie. I've heard he's fast. I also heard he could run faster than most high schoolers when he was in 8th grade.

I was wondering how the William Blount team had such a strong team last year, but no one competed at the State in Memphis. They had to have had several that were capable of making it. I remember reading some of the team scores and events. They were blowing teams away during the season last year.

Bearden is extremely strong again this year and should be in the hunt for the state championship . Look for the KIL and Region to fall to them again. We got a lot of guys returning and some young guns coming up.

William Blount will be better this year because they have added some really good runners. Last year they almost had 2 make it to state. This year they have added to Brad Walker is Ronald Osborne. Look for a stronge relay team. They also have freshman Danielle Sampley for their girls team. Looks to be a good year for sprints.
