The cyclones took control of this game in the second half with stellar defense and a whole lotta heart. Congrats to the Lady Cyclones, Region One Champions.

First quarter was a draw; cyclones had a 22-13 lead in the second only to allow the rebels and their defense to go on a 14-0 run; the half ended with South Greene up 27-25. The third quarter was nip and tuck. E-town seized control of the game in the fourth quarter, and withstood a late rally by South Greene to win 58-50. Great job Cyclones!!!!!!!

Looking at box scores this morning it is obvious that Rickers raiders wasn't there officiating.Big differnce in fouls from past 2 games.Good luck ladies from Betsy but beware a great shooter is coming to town. Watched her as a freshman and anywhere past half court she is wicked.

Fouls heavily favored SG in the first half. Something like 10-4. Second half was fairly evenly called. Ricker did get a T with about two minutes to go, and after the game he sprinted across the court after the officials but was detained by a tournament official. His team plays tenacious defense all over the court and I understand now prior complaints about how they can do that and not get called with more fouls. They never did get into foul trouble while Eliz was in foul trouble from the get go, with two starters getting three in the first half. Ricker and his girls act like any foul called on them is a mistake.

Like I posted before get S. Greene behind and ricker gets the Tech.He should have got 2nd one for going after refs and been suspended.

Ricker shouldnt have gotten the T in the first place, he did not say a word, I was right behind the bench. That changed the whole tempo of the game, turned into a 6 point play for Elizabethon. Good Luck to both teams in Substate
