Does this remind anyone of 1999-2000 when the 15-13 Bearettes went to the final four under Harlow? I've got a squeaky, sneaky feeling that the Bearettes may be playing in the glass house on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. (8:00 Bearette time). If the "old" Buckalew continues to play lights out even with a bad wheel and bad back, if little Dill continues to lead like a senior though still a super soph, if "valley girl" Reynolds (as in valedictorian) continues to play with the determination and vigor that she did on Thursday, if Action Jackson can get a few of those "hootenanny" shoots to fall, if Crowe brings her shooting eye for those treys and if the newest wunderkind sophomore and chairlady of the boards continues to clean the glass like Windex......and if Jack coaches like....Just Jack.....then the Bearettes will be just fine and playing in the sunshine of the crystal palace.

Honestly, you can't really expect everyone to have their 'A' game every night but the stars seem to be aligning and stranger things have been known to happen!

Looks like teacher over pupil to me. Bearettes by 10!

Bradley Central Fans be sure to come out and support Tambra Crowe in the 2nd Annual Pre-Game Academy Roundball Classic at Tyner Academy in Chattanooga on Friday, March 26th. By the way, Brandi Scott participated in the game last year and was the Most Valuable Player of the Girls' Game. Chris Brown from the Bradley Central Bears team will also be participating in the Boys' Game.

    • Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.
    • I know the RB from OR he’s fast and has good hands. Is good on special teams also. Didn’t want to play defense over to the Ridge.
    • Lieutenant Flip flops is on a roll. #1 recruiter in Anderson Co, fo-sho.
    • Has there been any effort to contact college coaches other than Trevecca?
    • 5star put out and article about the QB competition for Clinton like they have 9 other schools. They listed a QB that was previously on Powell’s roster last year. He was the Frosh that could throw great wearing number 5. He was not mentioned as a transfer.  HC was quoted in getting two running back transfers one being from OR that has been mentioned on these boards as well as another from TKA.  I had heard about these and more transfers. It is impressive that Clinton is able to steal away from the recruiter at Powell.  I wonder if the issue with the principal will change that or open the gates even more.
