Lions Den
Wow!! What a game. Columbia led by as many as 15 in the 4th qtr. I think Coach Moore out witted Coach Harlow. I think she had a better game plan.Columbia is young. And they are playing well!!! I think they have ice water in their veins!! Good luck to the Lady Lions Thursday against Craigmont!! tnwareagle
She was taught by the best. She had a good game plan and her players executed well. Coach Harlow had a good game plan also, but it seemed like we didn't execute in any area. Congratulations to Harlow and the Bearettes for a great season and good luck to Columbia. Maybe we will meet again next year. Coach Harlow has a lot of youth on his team too that he will have ready for next season.
MtJBears
Just wondering... why Jack Harlow does so much jumping around. He was coaching at Franklin County at one time. Then he was at Columbia. Now he's at Bradley. He is a very good coach just wondering why he hasn't stayed at one place to build a program and then maintain it. I guess being in the same district with Shelbyville is no fun. macintosh
being in the same district with Shelbyville has no value, whatsoever, he just get tired of parents that do not let him coach the way he wants to coach.
Pitino
Next year will be the test for Old Jack. This year, with Buckalew in the line-up, he had the best talent in Southeast Tennessee. Losing Buckalew, Crowe, and Reynolds will hurt. Yes he has Pickle, Jackson, and Cassada back, but no others played that much. Can't even imagine the starting line-up. Cleveland will be loaded, McMinn will be good, Cumberland will be good. Jack might tone down his non conference schedule, who knows. He might change his mind about Suiter. She might not be that bad after all. Good luck Jack.
greenwheel
Didn't Harlow stay at Franklin County for 15 or 16 years? Anyone know?

SPORTZTER1
First off I am a Loretto fan, and I love our Coach Christy Green!!! But i must also say that Coach Heather Moore has done an outstanding job with her team this year!! They are young and inexperienced but you couldnt tell that if you saw them in action!! I've watched 4 of their ballgames this season and I'm very impressed with Coach Moore!! Go Lady Mustangs, and good luck also to Coach Heather Moore, and her young Lady Lions team!! Lions Den
Hey Sportzter, Are you talking about the Columbia Lady Lions??? If so their coach is Rachael Moore not Heather. Just thought I would let you know. And yes ahe has done a wonderful job. Taken a team that had 9 wins last year and taken them to the state tourney in her first year, that's pretty good!!!! SPORTZTER1
Thanx Lions Den!! Yes, I was talking about Coach Rachael Moore!! I know her personally and I dont know why I posted it as Heather Moore!! Memory Lapse. I guess I'm getting old. Sorry about that, and good luck to Columbia as well as Summertown Eaglettes, Eagles, and my very own, the Lady Mustangs!! Boro bound ladies and gents!!!! peacemaker
Can't even imagine the starting line-up. Cleveland will be loaded, My opinion- Unless some unforseen hidden talent comes in that nobody knows about. Jackson and Cassda underneath, Dalton on the point and Pickel and Jolley on the wing! But what do I know? I am sure nothing according to some! Could be some more transferring, with a few open spots its been know to happen! Worked out good for Buckalew, maybe some others will follow suit!
ccalum
Didn't Harlow stay at Franklin County for 15 or 16 years? Anyone know? I know Coach Harlow coached FCHS for at least 13 years, maybe more, leaving under a cloud of controversy that his wife was giving the girls prescription medication without going through the proper channels. He left to go to Columbia in '93-'94 or '94-'95, then left there after the '98 state tournament team. He's been at Bradley ever since. He's taken 3 different schools to the state tournament (FCHS in '81 and '88, Columbia in '96 and '98, Bradley in '00). I like his style, even though I've known several FCHS girls that did not like him at all. You can't please everyone, though.
