Who would have thought that Columbia's Girls would

Columbia has shock the state as they knocked off Bradley Central Sat. night! This has been a big turn around for the girls! Nancy, Deandrea, and Alex, with the help of there teammates, have came up big and took over when they had to! I proud of you girls and GOOD LUCK IN THE STATE!

I have watched Columbia all season they WERE very young. They are still young but just aren't playing like it. I feel strongly that they are about to replace Lawrence County as the #2 in 8AAA girls BB. Yeah I said it. Now will they give the SCHS Eaglettes a run for their money? Perhaps, perhaps not. One thing is for sure though. Their coaching situation has improved and they enjoy good fan support. The next few years could be interesting. Good luck Columbia perhaps we'll see you in the finals!

So much for the thoughts of the everwise schsbears, who said how weak middle TN was this year. Of course, they also said Sevier Co. would be in the 'boro.

So much for 8AAA being down this year! 2 teams in the State Tourney is a great accomplishment. Congrats to Coach Moore and her very young team, should see much more of them for years to come. Great job Rachel, hope it is an all 8AAA final
